Here is the latest, newest, cleverest idea of the year:
Brownie in a Mug!
4 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. milk
dash salt, opt.
chocolate chips, opt.
Step 1: Mix the dry ingredients together in a mug.
Step 2: Add the liquid ingredients, stirring well so that all the powder is mixed in.
Step 3: Microwave for approx. 1 minute; stopping at 30 seconds to add a few chocolate chips (or you can add them whenever you please).
[In this photo, I had slightly stirred it after it was cooked.]
When it is cooked, it will look like cake, sorta. But it's gooey and yummy!
Absolutely delicious and a great experiment. Your family will probably want to know how you made it and you'll most likely be requested to make it often. What a magnificent way to get your own, personal brownie! To add to the deliciousness, try a scoop of ice cream with the finished product. Extra milk, mint chips, a spoonful of peanut butter---lot's of options so you have a valid reason of making more than one!

Brilliant. I have wanted to try something like this, and now I have the inspiriation! I've also heard of coffee cake in a mug; that would come in handy during early work mornings. You have inspired me. =)
